2 down 1 to go

So I am feeling like the chemo is finally leaving my body after 2 months or so since my last dose!

Last week resumed Herceptin. That is the infusion to block a protein in the cellular make up of the tumor that promotes tumor growth. I will get this 1x per 3 weeks for another 8 months...yikes!

Met with radiation oncologist last Friday.  Will have a "mapping" catscan tomorrow to plan the radiation dose and such. Once that's figured out I will begin radiation on the 23rd. Daily doses M-F for 6 weeks. Will go til 1st week of December.  I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Will keep you posted on how it goes...

Well it seems like you are on the final 5 miles of the 26 mile marathon. I don t think radiation has as many terrible side effects as chem according to my sister. But still not without discomfort. I wonderful if you can celebrate Christmas and being cancer free together. What a gift that would be. Were you able to do much over the summer??????💕🌸
