Thank you all for joining this site and supporting SWEET JENNIFER. We are all beyond grateful for your support! We are blessed with a big and loving family and countless friends! However, the one hard thing is that many of us don’t live close to Jennifer. Jennifer lives in Arizona and is not close to many family members. That is one reason why I decided to create this site -for all of our family and friends that don’t live close, but want to help as much as they can. Thank goodness our Aunt Cathy has been there with Jennifer every step of the way. ❤️ Along with some cousins and a few of her friends. Also -thank you to Steve Olson and his family who have been wonderful taking care of the children full-time while Jen is going through all of this.
I was in Arizona end of November for Jen’s surgery. It was an 8 hour surgery to remove all of the cancer they could see. Everything went very well. However, the pathology report came back that it was an aggressive type of tumor. The one you don’t want to have! 😠
Next step for Jen is an 18 week Chemotherapy treatment. 1 infusion every 3 weeks. She had her first treatment last week. Unfortunately she has had several set backs since this first treatment. She has been in and out of the hospital with a bad kidney infection and pancreatitis. Among other side effects-Jen is keeping a positive attitude and her spirits up! Her last text message to me was saying how she just has to ride out this wave...
So many of you have asked,”How Can I Help?”
Friends and family everywhere: please consider donating towards expenses. With this diagnosis there have been many expenses compounded by the loss of Jen’s income during this time. Any help is humbly and greatly appreciated. Use the “Donation” tab to donate by credit card (2.9% fee will be deducted), and for information to mail a check or send directly with PayPal to Reisingjp@gmail.com.
Gift cards to Target, Wholefoods, or any restaurant that could be found in the Phoenix area is also very helpful.
Jens life has been turned upside down-along with all of those closest to her. We have so much gratitude for all of the love and support!
I will continue to post updates. And please post your messages and pictures here for Jen to enjoy.
For any any questions or ideas you might have to further assist Jen and her children, please send me a private message.
