Tarynn rocked her MRI. Now we wait for results....

Hi Everyone- Tarynn did a great job at her MRI today. She stayed absolutely still for nearly an hour and a half, while being asked to breathe in funny ways, hold her breath, and all the while the machine was making weird, loud noises. The nurse and technician were both very impressed with how well she handled it.

Now we wait for results, which hopefully won’t take too long. I have no idea what to expect. It has been a few years since Tarynn’s last cath and she has done great to make it this long without needing another open heart surgery. On a day to day basis she seems very healthy. She has a ton of energy, but you never really know what is going on inside....

On the way home from Boston we were rear ended while waiting to merge after getting off the highway. It doesn’t seem like there are any big injuries - we do have headaches right now, and the passengers in the other car seemed fine. Our car is pretty banged up, but it is what it is, and it certainly could have been a lot worse.

Thank you for the support and prayers. We really do have the best friends! We will post when we receive the results from today’s MRI.

Good job to all. I'm so sorry about the car accident on top of everything else. Tears in my eyes. You must be, like, REALLY? Hoping for quick and good MRI results. You are a spectacular family. Much love to all.

Praying for good results. Interestingly, we were in Bristol right before Thanksgiving and got rear-ended in our rental car...what a nightmare--no one was hurt, but the hassle... Sally

So good to hear Tarynn did a great job staying still and following directions. That is not very easy, especially for that length of time. Not so happy to hear about the car accident. Praying for good MRI results and that there are no residual affects (for all of you) from the accident.

So proud of Taryn. It is very hard to go through such a long MRI. She is a trooper. Hope the results are good for all of you. Hope you feel better. You don't need any more tension or hurt. Will wait for the results with lots of prayers. You all take care of yourselves. Love Aunt Joan
