Hi Everyone- Tarynn did a great job at her MRI today. She stayed absolutely still for nearly an hour and a half, while being asked to breathe in funny ways, hold her breath, and all the while the machine was making weird, loud noises. The nurse and technician were both very impressed with how well she handled it.
Now we wait for results, which hopefully won’t take too long. I have no idea what to expect. It has been a few years since Tarynn’s last cath and she has done great to make it this long without needing another open heart surgery. On a day to day basis she seems very healthy. She has a ton of energy, but you never really know what is going on inside....
On the way home from Boston we were rear ended while waiting to merge after getting off the highway. It doesn’t seem like there are any big injuries - we do have headaches right now, and the passengers in the other car seemed fine. Our car is pretty banged up, but it is what it is, and it certainly could have been a lot worse.
Thank you for the support and prayers. We really do have the best friends! We will post when we receive the results from today’s MRI.
