The Hands of the Lord

Hello family and friends,

We have been having a hard time with Jr’s situation but, I do not want anyone to get the impression that things are all bad here, because that is the farthest thing from the truth. I will write about the blessed things that are going on in my next blog, but this is a special blog worth reading.

As a reminder, Jr stole 1000 pesos from the Arma family, Ellea, Dan Dan and their daughter Daniela. Daniela sold her band uniform to earn money to have a little celebration for her birthday. This family has been with me from day one. They helped when I needed help, they took care of me when I was sick and backed me up and protected me when I would do things the community did not agree with, like taking in Jr. They showed so much kindness to Jr, allowing him to sleep at their home when I was out of town, feeding him which is hard for a family that has trouble feeding themselves. So, when everyone was against us taking Jr in, the Arma family backed us up and took the criticism that came with it and at the end of it all, Jr stole Daniela’s birthday money which could not be replaced by them. They did get the money back however, from the police and Daniela had a wonderful birthday! THANK YOU LORD!

After reading the last blog, Ann, one of the women living in my mother’s and father’s house and Ann’s daughter felt the Holy Spirit move within their hearts and gave $140.00 to buy a present, uniform and whatever else. On a personal note, I am looking forward to meeting you Ann and thank you for allowing me and my wife to be a part of bringing the Lord glory.

Anyways, what Ann does not know is the Arma family has had serious trouble buying food and they were very, very, low on funds. This is because Dan Dan has serious arthritis in his knees and legs. When they swell up, like last week he cannot drive his side car which is the family’s most important source of income. This arthritis is terrible and killed Dan Dan’s father in his mid 60's. They had been praying for provision and healing, as were we. I gave him pain medication and a wrap but that's all I could do besides pray.

See, when Ann and her daughter acted on the movement of the Holy Spirit they were doing so much more than providing a uniform and a present, they were being the hands of the Almighty Creator Himself and answering the prayers of a beautiful family. Thank you Ann and your daughter for being sensitive to the Spirit and acting on it, you stretched the hands of the Almighty to the other side of the globe to answer prayers from a precious family in need; that is amazing! The money was used to buy food, particularly rice, they also bought their son a much needed shirt, which he was showing off tonight. Also, they were able to pay the tuition for all three of their kid’s high school tuition. It’s not like the states; you have to pay for a public education.

The Social Services have been waiting for Jr to do something bad so they could press charges on him. Because he is 15 now, he will face jail time or a rehabilitation centre, but it's up to the judge. This situation is the situation the Social Services have been waiting for. They love Jr and want him in a rehabilitation centre and I believe The Lord has used the Arma's to get this done. The judge lives in the next town over and Cris Ann and I will talk to him personally about his decision concerning Jr. Jr does not deserve to spend the rest of his life in prison. He was dropped off in town at eight years old and his mother told she was doing it because he was the source of her problems. He lived there for seven years with absolutely no family willing to help. He deserves a chance and I know the Lord is going to give him that chance through this whole situation and the Arma's have been blessed in the process!

Ann, you put food on a table that had none, you took care of one of the greatest worries the Arma’s have, school tuition and cloths. Your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and willingness to act upon it is something that should be mentioned and acknowledged by all.

Please pray that Jr makes it to the place he needs to be and only The Lord knows where that is but we do whatever we can to get him there!
