Update November 11, 2013, Caleb Barton

Today is my sons wife's birthday ~ Happy Birthday Cris Ann, we love you.

This morning my sister in law (Chris), sent me a devotion that cased me to cry and then to ponder. You see it said, " Look back over your life and see how I have helped you through difficult days. If you are tempted to think, " Yes, that that was then and this is now, " remember who I am!" Although your circumstances change, I remain the same throughout time and eternity. This is the basis of your confidence. In My presence you live and move and have your being.

Look back on the difficult days, I know many of you can look back when we were asking for prayer's all over the world, for our son's life. And you were all faithful. In Gods sovereign will Caleb Lived. Six years later were are here again, asking not only for Caleb's life but his beautiful wife's too. I think of Jr, the blind widows son and so many other's we have grown to love and some of you have cared for.

Yes, I was tempted to think that was then and this was the worlds largest storm to touch ground. Then I realize that's the whole point God is bigger then the storm, he is the same today as he was back then. He able to do great things.

Today, I sit in your presence Lord and ask that the many prayers be heard and that your Devine and holy Will be done. Caleb always tells me what he thinks and feels and then says, Gods will be done!!!

All your prayers, emails, and posts are holding us up at a time we cannot stand alone.

Gary will be landing Manila about 3:00pm our time. I am hoping to hear news from the team making their way to Caleb's town.
