Coffee Brewing ~

 Gary is home ~ The morning after he got home I laid in bed listening to him piece the coffee pot back together. Patiently putting the machine back together piece by piece. I was wondering if it was broken, but then I could smell the wonderful aroma of fresh brewed coffee! I couldn't imagine how he worked all the pieces together but some how I knew he could.

Here we are again the coffee pot and the reality of God and His ability to work all the pieces together for His good.

There are many undone pieces and trusting God is once again as real as it has been anytime during this storm. When Gary left the Philippines Caleb was getting better everyday. Last night we talked to Caleb and Cris Anne, during our conversation Caleb seemed confused and then tried to check out of a hotel he and Cris Anne had not stayed in, totally unaware of where he was. Tonight it appears the symptoms are getting worse. It just seems like the kids are so far away and it takes patience, and great faith to keep from just panicking

Gary is patiently helping Caleb and Cris Ann with each step, guiding them and reminding them of our love, although we are so far away.

Sounds like God to me.

Then I remind myself, that the pieces of the coffee pot seemed impossible to me and yet Gary was able to put them all in their place. God is so big, the pieces of our lives to God are as small as  pieces to a coffee pot are to us.

Gary is patiently helping Caleb and Cris Anne put the pieces together, he has made some good contacts, they are on their way back to the hospital and are asking for continued prayer cover.

Thank you for your faithfulness and prayers, they are still coveted.
