Post Surgery

Good Morning Everyone,

Dad is out of surgery and doing well. The surgeons poked three holes in order to biopsy the masses in dad's abdominal and colon. Although the surgery was successful, the biopsy results showed cancer that has metastasized all over his abdomen and most likely in the colon. This was crushing news for the whole family and tears flowed last night with thoughts of the future. We will have to wait two days before we find out what kind of cancer he has. It is either untreatable stage 4 colon cancer or lymphoma, which is treatable. Obviously, we are now turning our prayers to a diagnosis of lymphoma. This is not easy, praying for cancer, but because of dad's and mom's faith we are all still very hopeful, knowing the Lord is in control. Today we will research the 'Cancer Center' in Arizona no matter what the diagnosis is. Dad and the family are not going to give up the fight no matter what the doctors here have to say because God is greater!  We need your prayers more than ever, we have hope but we know the road ahead is one full of trials and pain. I or mom will keep you updated on dad's condition and all that is going on so we can all stay united in prayer. Thank you again for your support.

Hi Caleb and crew...do everything you can to stay out of the fear...and we will keep the prayers coming. Also...I know that miracles are happening with alternative therapies and have some contacts in that area, plus I know of a non-profit that connects people with experimental therapies -- I'll get the info and send it over asap.

Thank you for the update. So sorry for all the trials you and your family are going through. I see God's fingerprints in bringing you home for such a time as this. Your dad was there for you after the storm, and you are here for your dad and mom during his trial. May God bring miraculous healing to both of you. You are all in our heart and in our prayers. Love and blessings.

Claiming Philippians 2:27: Indeed he was ill and almost died, but God had mercy on him, and not on him, but also on me, to spare me from sorrow upon sorrow. Standing with all of you in faith. Love you.
