Today was about letting go. Surrendering my will and submitting to Gods perfect Plan. This morning started with Gary reading the bible devotional and it was all about worry. God is so good. Do not worry God says. Boy has that been a hard one for me during this time of waiting. Instead of watching what the TV has to say I am in the word and there I find peace. I am still sitting in the waiting room Caleb just like after your accident. But this time I wait to hear Gods plan for not only you, but your wife's and her families too. Waiting in the waiting room is never easy, but with the love, prayers and support of so many it is bearable.[...]
This has been a rough day and couple of night. Trying get information about the storm and its location , sending out prayer requests and praying, actually pleading to the Lord on Calebs and Chris Annes behalf. And yet I feel strangely peaceful this morning. Yes the peace that God promises in the Storm. [...]
Minutes ago the news reported the storm hit the islandof East Samar early this morning. No other news. Thank you for your prayers e-mails amd texts. But most of all your prayers[...]
This is a time of needed prayer, like never before, except when we all prayed and asked God to spare Caleb's life, over six years ago There is a category 5 hurricane headed right towards the island where Caleb and Chris Anne live. Caleb was able to get a text out yesterday but we do not know when he will be able to communicate again. I must admit I am a little scared and worried, I am looking up and seeking the peace that God promises during these times. Father God I am asking you to preform another miracle in my sons life. Thank you Lord. Father please keep the islanders safe, your will be done. Amen Thank you for your faithfulness, there is so much work to be done.[...]
I have an issue that needs us to gather together in prayer to give life to someone who has never had it. Jr the orphan that was left on the streets at eight years old by his mother, as she blamed him for his her problems and made sure he knew he was worthless; he has been living on the streets ever since. It has been seven years and he is a 15 year old boy who still has no one. We took him into our home for almost four months and he did well. Long story short he had to leave but found a new place a couple houses down which doubles as a billiard. He has gone seriously downhill since he left. He has stacks of money and obviously has gotten in with the wrong people. He is hiding from them, but they will have no mercy when they find him.[...]
Hello family and friends,
We have been having a hard time with Jr’s situation but, I do not want anyone to get the impression that things are all bad here, because that is the farthest thing from the truth. I will write about the blessed things that are going on in my next blog, but this is a special blog worth reading.[...]

Jr returned to Lucso-On, our town when I had told him to wait in town only one more day and we would go to Social Services together. We saw him in town the day before and gave him money, plenty of money, and he was running around an area he has many friends.[...]
Hi Friends and Family,
Yesterday was a very good day that ended terribly. Cris Ann and I traveled to Tacloban and bought some more items for the Internet cafe. We became very good friends with the manager and his wife. We actually were already friends with the managers wife, because she was hanging out at the store the frst time we were there. Just so hapend she was there again and we became good friends with her husband, the manager and he really, really helped us out in some areas I needed some help in. We also had the opportunity to sit down and treat a police chief to lunch. I stopped to ask him about some self defense issues because I am a target and I have been very close, many time, to defending myself and my wife. It went from a conversation to a lunch date. Cris Ann and me sat with a high ranking police officer and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. He gave us his number and said if you need anything call me![...]
I have had it on my heart to put into writing, best I can, the thankfulness and gratitude I feel toward all those who have supported me. The support has gone on for 5 very long years and has transformed and morphed as time went on. Although some of those who are supporting currently look different just as the situations that need support look different. But after five years, some of the same supporters as well as new are taking part in the Lord’s work in Cris Ann’s and my work in the Philippines.[...]
