Heart Breaking
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways."
Jr returned to Lucso-On, our town when I had told him to wait in town only one more day and we would go to Social Services together. We saw him in town the day before and gave him money, plenty of money, and he was running around an area he has many friends.
When he came to our house I talked to him and explained that he needed to go back to town and tomorrow, Monday, we will meet at 10:00am and go to Social Services, whom absolutely care for him, and we would try and find a place for him.
The Fiesta, which is a weeklong party and events, is going on here in Lucso-On. Everyone gets drunk and Jr drinks, so I knew he had to go back to Borongan because he would get into big trouble and I would be held accountable. He left the house but he did not leave Lucso-On like I told him. Ate Ellea saw him and told him the same thing, that he needed to leave and meet me and Cris Ann in the morning, but he just would not do it. Ate Ellea took the stolen phone he had and she walked to my house to talk about him. Long story short he would not leave and was playing pool at the pool house which is near our house. We, Cris Ann and me, went over to talk to him and I asked if he wanted to spend the rest of his life in prison? I asked a couple more questions but he disrespectfully would not listen or acknowledged us.
I walked home feeling really mad and sad. The Lord put it on my heart to show more mercy and the Lord opened my eyes in a special way to the mercy He shows me every day. I told him he could sleep at the house, but he could not go to the festival and we would go together in the morn to Social Services. Honestly, everything in me wanted to beat this guy for stealing from and seriously disrespecting everyone, but when The Lord opened my eyes, my heart changed.
He obeyed and slept at the house as we agreed. However, he went to Kua Dan Dan and Ate Ellea's home in the early morning and they gave him breakfast. As a reminder this family is my family, as close as those in the states and I would love nothing more for my families to meet each other. Daniela, their oldest daughter, who is 15, sold her school uniform so she could have some money to do something for her birthday, which is today. Jr stole the money and went to town. We ran him down because we were going there anyways and we ended up in the police station. This was heart breaking! Ate Ellea in tears for Daniela, me fighting the tears because it is the end of the month and we have no money to help Daniela and Jr could be on his way to prison. The Social Service lady was in tears as well because we were so close to finding him a place to live; he just needed to behave for a few more hours. Ate Ellea got the money back and it is up to her and her husband to press charges. Me and the Social Service lady begged and explained that now that he is 15 he will see a judge and the judge will send him to jail or too a rehabilitation centre.
Like The Lord says, His ways are not my ways but I am sure that the charges need to be pressed and the Lord will direct him to the right place.
This has been really, really hard! Jr was left by his mom at age eight; left on the streets for seven years and he is not will or able to help himself. My heart is breaking but I know the Lord has good plans for Jr.
"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thought higher than your thoughts."
'I know You have good plans for Jr Lord and You love him more than any other, allow us to continue to be a part of his life so we can experience the joy of watching you transform those whom cannot be transformed any other way.'
I ask for prayer that Kua Dan Dan and Ate Ellea will press charges and the Judge will send him where he needs to go.
Thank You Friends and Family
