Caleb

Our life continues to be defined by Caleb's accident. Just the other night Gary said, " That was before Caleb's accident so it must have been over five years ago." It made me think, "Wow, your right and what an amazing God we serve, yes an amazing God." Most of you know the start of the story, Caleb almost dying in a motorcycle accident, Caleb not dying but being left parlayed, Caleb’s second accident that fractured his neck and left him heart broken, Caleb becoming addicted to this pain medications and GOD showing up for Caleb through the ministry of U Turn For Christ.

When I start to tell people about Caleb, they cut me short and say, “I am so sorry, and I say, “Wait a minute!!!! You haven’t heard the end of the story!!!" Caleb is an ordained minister, serving as a missionary, rising up a school of ministry on the island of East Samar, deep in the Philippine jungle." God has just began a great work, yes, you heard me just began. Caleb will tell you, there is much work to be done and he is grateful to be used. The other night Caleb asked me to write you and ask for prayer, he said, “Mom people seem to want to hear from you, a mother’s heart.” So, here I am, Caleb’s mother writing, tears streaming down my cheeks as I am blessed with a heart full of gratitude, having been changed by the lessons of my sons life and the impact his faith has made on so many.

Caleb has prayer needs, please pray for Caleb as he is in terrible pain due to a centipede bite, he has asked for prayer for the students of the school who are making deep sacrifices to be at the school and to serve the Lord, prayer for the children’s ministry, supplies, rice and other basic needs. Thank you so much each one for your continued love, support and prayers. I can hear Caleb say,” Mom, where much GRACE is needed much is given and that is the story of my life. I Love you Mom.”
