Merry Christmas

I am so thankful for the love of everyone who has shared in this journey. Never once did our family feel as if we were walking through this alone. Everyday I would watch with a thankful heart as my wife would sit and read the comments on PostHope and find strength in the Love communicated through each post. This has been the hardest test and trial I have ever gone through and at times I thought it might be the final test. The trials started long before the storm or the seizure, those events were just the beginning of the end of a long hard season.[...]

A New Flavor ~ Caleb and Cris Ann Update.

I am sorry that it has been so long since I have written. It has been a very busy time, a new season in our lives.

Caleb and Cris Ann have been home almost a week. The first few days they were both sick off and on. Cris Ann tired to eat what we ate but we found that she was feeling sick and was always cold. We tried to take her shopping for clothes, she came with no clothes and one pair of flimsy shoes, but she got car sick and it was difficult for her to shop. We took her to a Philippine grocery store and she smiled, laughed and danced!!! Whew...... It has taken the kids much daily focus  getting into a routine....settling in during the holiday season on top of everything. Both are making adjustments, in prayer, and enjoying each other. We have given ourselves two weeks just to celebrate, permission not think about what's next just enjoying our precious time together, time I thought just a few weeks ago we might not have.  Thanks to each of you, all your prayers and your support we are together, the kids are getting healthier each day and from a grateful heart, from our Family to Yours....Merry Christmas!!!![...]

PRAYER CHANGES THINGS.

Thank u Lord! I got my emergency appointment with US Embassy. Thank u you everyone for lifting us in prayers. It was a hard day yesterday, we thought we won't be able to get an appointment 'till January 2. We went to the embassy to beg for an emergency appointment but they told us they can't do anything about it but they gave us contacts where to ask for help. We went home sick, so we rested and prayed about the appointment. We know everyone has been praying for it. We woke us this morning and do devotion and we called the consulate to ask for help. Thankfully, we got it this morning! I will have my interview tomorrow, please pray that everything will go smoothly and that we may find favor in their eyes. Please pray for us also, we both don't feel well. Caleb is so sick today and we need prayers, we can't miss the interview tomorrow cuz we if do we won't be able to get an emergency appointment again. Thank u for making us feel that we are not alone. [...]
