We are half way there. Whoa, Livin' on a prayer, Take my hand we'll make it I swear.
This seems to be our theme song. We are almost to the end of an era in our family on so many different levels.
Our house closes on April 20. We have lived in this home for 8 years. This is where we brought 6 of our kids home. It is bittersweet. Eben and Blessing seem to be having the biggest trouble with the transition. This is "our home." Their has been lots of tears and just downright emotional days saying good-bye to our home.
With the purchase of the new van for Eben, we are looking to sell the big van. We have had this van for 12 years. The kids are sad we are letting it go. We hope it will be bought by a church so it's ministry will keep on going.
Charity graduates on May 7th at 2pm at Concord Baptist in Jefferson City. You are invited. Charity is the last of the big kids to graduate and our last homeschooler with JCHE. We are so excited to see what is next for our girl. Her and Kiah plan to attend missionary school in the fall.
Finally, we leave for Mayo on May 8th, and not a moment too soon. Eben has been having hypothalamic storms. It has been dibilitating. He is exhausted. He is completely weened from his seizure medication and this is the result. We hope he can hold out to get to Mayo for the testing, but his doctors here are not so sure he will. It will be so sad to have to go back on medication, because it will mean he be ineligible for the neuro testing at Mayo. Medication will escew the test results.
So much going on. If you are available Sunday, April 17 at 1pm and want to help us load a moving van. The last count there was over 200 boxes. We would be thankful!
Thank you all so much. Thank you for your prayers and support during the end of this season in our lives. We love you.
