The good, the bad, and the no-sleep!

The Good:  The tape and glue are peeling away! It's looking less like some one took the singer sewing machine up my chest and more like a scar!  It's mending/healing well.

The Bad:. Ran out of sleep meds! I normally take one at 10pm and one at 2or 3am when it wears off. Well...I had the 10pm one but that was all. I can make it through one night, right?

The No-Sleep: WRONG! Bad move! Never run out of sleep meds 1/2 way thru the night!! Needless to say, I've been up since 3am!! The whole day is shot tho. I'm agitated because no sleep and I tried napping and that didn't work either. I may even be..... crabby! YIKES!

The Good News: Yea....I have one more week of sleep meds!! Yea!!!  And I found my Sleepy Time Tea.  I really don't take much medicine so I was amazed how much the sleep med helped!  Part of this may be that the new valve rocks my body (it's strange) so I can not sleep!  Will see what happens next week when I run out! I'm extremely appreciative to have my new valve and pacemaker!! Hugs, Tracy

Pretty sure Rick wasn't able to sleep well for a few weeks after surgery. Your body is still really discombobulated. You'll look back on this a year or so from now and won't remember all the things that made your life miserable.

Think of the new rocking as your personal metronome and rock yourself to sleep...or use the rhythm to count Glad you're progressing!💚💜💚

Hang in there Tracy! I always tell Beth to just hold her breath until she falls asleep. She never listens. ;o)
