Tomorrow is finally the big day! We had all our exit assessments today. The difference between David's entry assessments and today's was HUGE. For example, his memory assessment 16 days ago, he scored 5 out of 30. Today he scored 25 out of 30. Day 1 here in rehab he walked 123 steps with a walker and couldn't go anymore. Today, he went up 24 steps and walked 1285 steps with no assistance at all.

We are so excited to get home and relax and just get back to being us. This accident has changed us both but our love for each other is stronger than ever. We still have a long road to full recovery, but, we will walk that road together.

I was very very worried about him when this all started I am so very happy that he has been able to do so well I know that you being there for him and with him though out all of this has given him something to strive for getting out of the hospital and getting back to being the loving husband he was before this all started As his friend, I want to say " thank you very much for sticking by him and being there for him though out this ordeal I think it is a real blessing that you two have the relationship that you do
