So thankful this is not the end! Thinking about you all as you spent your first fathers day without him.

My heart is with you, family, as we carry on without our Albert. At my Grandpa Helmer's funeral, I remember Uncle Albert told us ,'Oh how Helmer loved his grandkids"! I pass this on to you, from one Josephson grandkid to another, ALbert LOVED his grandkids!! Those Josephson Grandparents are very hard to say good-bye to, but just imagine the party of laughter and silly expressions and inside jokes and singing and coffee drinking they are having....together again! 'He the pearly gates will open..."

Jeanette Herringshaw( Leighton-Craig) My prayers are with. The Josephson family. Attending Alberts service brought back many memories. Albert provided many blessing and help to our family. Our wedding service to Lesle Craig dedication of our two children Wayne and Genene and sadly the funeral service for Leslie. Blessed by being asister-in-law to Nels and Jeanette Josephson brings back many memories trips to Alpine community and vista with many other Josephson families. Albert you leave a lot of memories and thank you for your blessings and prayers. Now it is my turn to say May the Lord watch over and care for the family you leave behind. I am not sure you have time to read this as you are probably very busy getting updates news with othervfamily members that took that heavenly walk before you.. Dearest Anna & family: What a GLORY day it was yesterday - Friday, May 10, 2013 - Praise The Lord! Hallelujah! Being present and sharing in the Celebration Service for your dearly departed husband, dad, father-in-law, grandpa, great-grandpa, etc., etc., (and my 'surrogate DAD') was 'heavenly'! To hear God's word preached, as Pastors: Glen Peterson, Neil Josephson, Andy Seabank, and others too shared, in such a Holy Spirit-lead manner was so moving and empowering ... the worship through hymns and choruses sung together and 'soloist' too was just 'divine'! And to hear the loving tributes from all family members - I got to know each of you that much more - thank you! Plus ... having Albert be part of the Celebration Service in 'real life' ways via video clips sharing jokes, songs//hymns, inspiring anecdotes, pictures, etc., etc., made him so 'very present' among us all - speaking directly to our hearts. What a gift and legacy - words cannot express how thankful I am to Albert, Anna and all of their family and friends. To 'complete' the Celebration in typical Albert and Anna 'fashion' ... all that wonderful food and desserts with the coffee and other beverages - provided in abundance by willing servants who have been touched by Jesus Christ through Albert and Anna (and all of you) ... I 'felt' the LOVE of Jesus Christ flowing like a river ...! To GOD be the GLORY! Love, continued prayers and God Bless! Sincerely Lorna Christie

I wish we could have been there yesterday. Albert always welcomed me and made me feel like I belonged. Joy flowed from him. And the legacy he has left the world in his kids has had a lasting influence in my life. Thank you Albert, and I suspect you are delighted to now be rooting for so many of us from the great cloud of witnesses.

Followed the events from afar. An amazing life and a wonderful legacy in all the people he touched over the years, myself included. Peace to his memory. Grace, Paul

Thank you, Josephson family, for sharing Albert's service. Memorials are always bittersweet. We used some of the same songs at my parents' services. It was great to hear Jeri play and to see Al and Neil share - it made me think of CBC. What an amazing tapestry of life we've been woven into. "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing it will be. When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory!" Can you imagine the party in Heaven, now that Albert has arrived?

What a beautiful celebration service - and what a beautiful family, to follow in your Dad's footsteps, as Joan said. Your Mom and Dad would have been very proud of you all. Thanks for arranging for those of us who could not be there to see and hear the service; we would have loved to have been there with you, so this was second best! We will strive to live and love Jesus and others, as Uncle Albert taught us so well to do. God bless and heal your hurting hearts. Love, Peter & Verna

My mom, Adele Ericson, was done here visiting so able to watch the service and sing along to all the old Swedish Covenant hymns. I paused the video montage often as she pointed at many old friends from the Manitoba camp days. Thank you so much for sharing such lovely memories of a man who loved family, life, laughter and most of all his Lord. Praying that those happy memories will help provide solace to your grief. Thinking of you all and sorry about that Norwegian part. He sure kept that quiet!

I want to thank God for Albert and Anna. To thank your church congregation and the Josephson family for making Albert's service available for us to watch. A great blessing to myself and others. Albert has gone on before us and is "home" at last. God bless you all.

It is with fond memories we look back to the time spent with Albert & Anna during their time in Stockholm, Sweden. Albert was pastoring the International church during the early 1980's. It was the time of the Iran/Iraq War. He suggested to some of us that we start a Saturday indoor hockey activity which included many Kurds from both countries. Although these youngsters had no Christian faith, Albert & Anna invited many of them back to their apartment afterwards , where we ended the evening singing Christian songs and enjoying a happy time together followed by supper. 9 months later we returned to the UK, and on our last Sunday in church, Albert challenged those who wanted to follow the Lord to come forward. Quite a group of these Kurds went forward.Praise the Lord! What a wonderful testimony of God's grace through this couple! [email protected]

I just heard the news and read the blog. I have such fond memories of Albert - he was a tremendous support to me and my family in those early years of adulthood. My sympathy and prayers go out to Anna, Al and his family, Joan and her family, Neil and his family. You have a rich heritage! May God bless you richly as you grieve and support one another and praise God for his goodness to all of us. We will meet again on the other side. Karen Crandall Nelson
