Prayers please! I can’t post a medical update, but Cindy has been admitted to Beaumont after a tough 24 hours. Prayers for a quick solution to her delicate condition with blood counts being as they are! I believe she’s in ICU, Prayers for Gods protection and mercy. Prayers for Cindy’s comfort and peace. Warriors take heed!

Cindy, I understand it's been especially rough for you today. I witnessed a dear friend battle Lymphoma, then leukemia, and struggle through the challenge of a stem cell transplant. I may work in the medical profession, but I had NO idea how physically and mentally exhausting this "healing" was until witnessed through the suffering of a dear friend. Karen is now 15 months post-transplant and enjoying her renewed life. I know that she beat this, you can beat this, and that God hears our prayers. I continue to pray for strength, NO discomfort (as bad as you feel, I believe God can shield you from the extremes), and His healing love to shower on you and Glenn.
With that in mind - I shared this with Karen, and I'll share it with you. With love, of course...

Cindy, all the Mulligans are sending their prayers for your resilience and strength. We are with you and thinking of you each day of your treatment journey. Thank you for every update Glenn.

OK, darling. You've been "encouraging" me to resume a somewhat normal work schedule that I interrupted when you were diagnosed. This here's proof that I'm back at Champion Gasket and Rubber (photo by Rob). Going to try for a regular schedule going forward. Experimenting with this still. While I'm here, Cindy and I give shout out to my Champion family, the Dubuc brothers, owners, "big bosses" - Nate, Josh, Jake and our production manager and my immediate boss, Jim. We are so appreciative to you for supporting me and allowing for me to peel off to tend to Cindy not only with no questions asked but with your blessings and prayers. You all are awesome!

Praying continually for your healing and strength. Sleep helps build strength and the protein smoothies sound like a good and I hope yummy choice. Sending lunch fixings for Glenn's cooler. Know you are loved. 🙂 Marilyn

Sweet Cindy,
As the road to recovery gets more challenging, rest assured that you are being lifted up in prayer daily by so many who love and care for you. Christ will carry you in His arms when the journey gets tough and we will walk along your side each step of the way. ❤️

Changed Cindy's profile photo. "I'm too pale in the one you chose," she commented. I agreed but, the problem is, I rarely take photos of just her. Photos of just me are even more rare. Conversely, some people...(1) look fabulous in every photo, (2) seem to be in everyone's pictures and (3) rarely ever take an actual picture themselves. Me? I'm always BEHIND the camera. I am EVER looking for a photo where one of us looks particularly "real" in my mind's eye, how we really are. Most of the 'profile" pics you see of Cindy or I are crops from photos with other people in them. (This one was Cindy in a group shot with our friends, the Sinclairs, in 2015 at Grand Hotel.) With Cindy in particular, I focus on her eyes. Something about Cindy's eyes captivates me - when I first met her back in college and still now as we are about to mark our 40th year wed. Cindy's eyes, and her being, still captivate me. I think her eyes come through in this photo.

Cindy, so thankful you are doing well. I plan on visiting you soon and enjoying some of that "sass" Glenn wrote about! You can count on me to pray for you, Glenn, and your family. You are loved sweet girl!
