Carried into the Deep

My Lord has launched me into uncharted waters and I feel as if I’m floating in the middle of the ocean. Nothing familiar. No land in sight. Not even a hint of rescue missions at this time. 

Yet I know it is God who has set me afloat beyond my wisdom, beyond my resources, and beyond my strength. I have no where to look except upward where He graciously awaits to be my advocate, my answer, and my all. Will I trust Him completely for deliverance?

No doubt, I am feeling the swelling waves as my boat rocks up and down. I’m scared at times and long for calm, shallow waters. But even when the tempest surges, I remember my soul is anchored to the One who cannot be moved. He is giving me the security, surety, and stability needed to weather this storm and I must keep my eyes stayed on the Rock who is able to hold me fast in His grip.

Thankful Thoughts
Lord, thank you for staying by my side and giving me Your peace and rest as I trust in You. May I hold fast to the immeasurable promises You have given and claim them as my own. In Jesus precious name.
