Village and Universal day 2

Today was the most relaxing day we have had. Eva slept until 7:30- we finally wore her out! We had breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Smith, and then enjoyed Give Kids the World Village. We rode the rides, and visiting the Candy Land themed playground. 

Eva got to go to the Castle of Miracles and write her name on a star. Tonight, a fairy is going to place the star on the ceiling of the castle, and we can see where it is placed tomorrow. She also got to throw a penny in a wishing well that made noise (Eva got the sound of breaking glass when she threw her penny in). All three kids got magic pillows too. Since we are a family who stayed here, we are allowed to come back twice a year to visit Eva’s star, and spend the day in Give Kids the World Village. 

The girl who arranged the princess makeover called today to see how the makeover went. When she and I were talking, I thought her phone was echoing, because I kept hearing whatever Eva was saying from the bedroom in the phone. I realized Eva had picked up the phone in the bedroom, and was telling the girl that the makeover went well. That kid. She can be resourceful when she wants to be! The girl who helped us was so happy to hear that everything went well, wanted to see pictures, and said that being able to set that up made her week. 

We then spent the afternoon at the pool with Grandma and Grandpa. The pool had free Icees!!!! Eva’s favorite! After the pool, we went back to Universal for the rides we missed yesterday. We needed the night with one last HP ride (Escape from Gringotts) and frozen butterbeer.  Vivian agrees with Aunt Jennifer- frozen is better! At the end of the ride, Eva was clapping a saying she wanted to watch the movies again. 

Eva and Everett passed out on the way home. It was the perfect end to our vacation. Homeward bound tomorrow. :)
