My deepest condolences at the passing of Gerhard. He was a good man. Hardworking. Diligent. Responsible. You could always count on him to be there. To do what needed to be done. He was not only well liked but he was also well loved. His hard work left an indelible mark on the community. His commitment made him a cherished member of the City team. He will be sorely missed.

I am saddened to read about Gerhard’s’ passing. Gerhard was a bright light in our community. I would see Gerhard while walking my dog in Belvedere. He always waved, had a smile and exchanged pleasantries.

Gerhard was vital to our community. He was always so knowledgeable. Whenever I reached out to him with a question or concern he was prompt, reliable, and so helpful. He will surely be missed.

My sincere sympathy to Gerhard’s family and friends.

I so appreciated Gerhard and am saddened to learn of his passing. I only knew him casually, yet he truly genuinely cared for our community and all within his scope of responsibilities. He always waved and smiled warmly when he'd drive-by and I always felt so fortunate to have been outside at the time. And he maintained the City well; when PGE failed to tighten the utility lid in the middle of the street outside our home, I'd be back with the specialized tool PGE had once left behind ~ !

It was a joy to see Gerhard in his truck all these years. Always a wave and smile. it was only a little while ago that i asked him how long he had worked here. What a wonderful and dedicated employee. He was proud of his work but was humble in his expression.
