I'm writing a book!

With the arrival of spring, and April on the horizon, I am taking a giant leap (with expert help) to publish a memoir- my experience as Louis’ mama. It is a more in depth version of what I have shared on Louis’ care page. I have learned so much these last 3 years; about congenital heart disease and living in the balance of hope and fear and tender mercy.  Most of all, I have learned a lot about myself. It feels right to put that out in the world. 

In an effort to keep myself accountable I will be sharing updates (once a month) of my writing; excerpts of what I am working on, roadblocks that have me stumbling, etc. through my website. I am really eager to move this forward and put my grief and trauma and resilience into a constructive package that I can share with you.

It also looks like PostHope (this website server) will no longer be available after June of this year. I will be using my website to share updates about Louis too. He has his next clinic check up on April 15th. It is likely this will change, with the current state of things and COVID-19 precautions. Sign up for the updates, and I will keep you informed. I also promise not to try to see you vitamins or meal replacement shakes or anything :)
