Addendum to last post
One of my oldest and best friends from growing up in Harrisonburg who now teaches at Mercer University in Macon Georgia, Robert Good, visited me last Sunday. He was one of three Roberts who were virtually inseparable throughout junior high and high school. There is something very special about sharing time with someone you’ve known since childhood, who has seen you at your best and your worst, and from whom you can hide nothing. Thanks so much for making the trek up, Rob.

How uniquely wonderful for both of you! Your description of this kind of friendship is perfect. We all need someone who sees the parts of ourselves that we may not want more broadly known and still loves us anyway and always tells us the truth! You continue to inspire us all and know you feel the love that is being poured out in our prayers. Pam Huggins
❤️❤️❤️ to the three Roberts!
Rob, thanks for sharing your journey with us. We are praying for you daily.
Orlovs continue to send you tons of virtual energy and love. Can't wait to come see you and give you some...well, maybe you have had enough of that, actually! :-) In all seriousness, we love hearing from you and seeing you in your Avett Brothers t-shirt. Remember when we used to sit on the porch and say that we must be getting old because we started talking about our health? You get a permanent pass from that 'dictate'... Well, maybe we all do. Perhaps that is just part of this journey ew all call life. I'm sending a hug to Nancy, too, whom I know is dedicatedly standing by you. You are one lucky guy to have her in your life.
We miss you so much! So glad you are connecting with old friends. Keep up the good work!
