Food and fat
I Want my sense of taste back! Every once in a while I get a craving for some type of food. Senses build up in my mouth, I can imagine how it feels on my tongue, the taste, texture, temperature. hmmmmm. Things like watermelon! I ate a huge amount of watermelon on Sunday, oh it was soooo goood! Right now, if I saw the melon i’d probably choke, Or a A Chick-fil-A sandwich with honey mustard. I was able to get most of that down. I force myself to eat some type of protein every day, imaging chewing a bland cotton ball? Yuck!
So far, the number One thing I can ‘eat’ is a choc. shake from DQ with only 1/2 the choc sauce. I’m not sure why it still makes it past my pallet, maybe the temperature? But there’s protein in milk, right? If I can get at least 400-500 calories down in one ‘meal, I’m happy. The weight is still peeling off my body. I can really feel it missing in my jeans (darn! I cleaned out my closet too soon!) My jeans hang off me, now. I have a pair of joggers, and 2 PJ pants that fit. Visually, I can see changes in my waist, back, shoulders, boobs. I’m an incredible shrinking women! I might need to revert to old man suspenders to keep my pants up! I’ll need to ask my husband to punch 2-3 more holes in my belt. I researched how long it might take form my taste to return, 3 weeks to 6 months and it may never be the same.darn, I love food!
