💗
I'm in school right now, and I don't even know if you are on this website anymore, because you persevered and Brock is doing so much better now, but I stumbled upon this website I didn't even know existed. I know a bit about Brock's conditions and hospital trips from the stories you would tell us growing up to help us understand why Brock struggled with things we never struggled with, but I never really knew until I read your posts. You are so strong, stronger than I've ever been and I don't know how you do it and how you still do. You've gone through so much, with Brocks's medical trips, and getting the privilege to add a wonderful silly kid to our family who brings us all so much joy. We've had so many trips to Denver for surgeries for Brock's leg and he's not the only kid who ended up going to Denver quite a few times in the past few months but you just suited up and sacrificed your time waking up several times throughout the night to give medicine, and waking up at 4 am to make it on time to appointments. There have been many visits to the burn clinic after the mishap in the kitchen (The fruit was delicious though) and you've always been there when we have something going on. You always support us when we have events, like concerts, performances, Courts of Honor and track meets. You spur us on spiritually and inspire us in so many ways and when we need to do stuff we don't want to do like cleaning our room and putting up laundry, you sacrifice your time to help us put it up when we have a hard day or get overwhelmed by all the stuff that happened during our day (I don't know how you still manage to do stuff when you have a hard day). You seem to seamlessly juggle your work and still manage to get us everywhere on time and never miss an event. You are so funny and always make me laugh even if I don't know that I need it at that moment, but when I'm sad, you offer yourself as a safe place to talk if I ever need someone to talk to. I love love love you so much and always will. You are such a role model in my life and in so many others. I love you and I hope you know it. I don't know if you'll ever see this, but if you don't it's ok, I'm trying to get better at telling you this stuff every day because everyone needs a little kindness in their life, and in this case the truth. Even if you don't ever see this or just maybe not for a long time, if you ever see this maybe it'll be during a time when you need it. I love you so much, and Brock is a Super Brock, and that in turn makes you a Super Mom. I'm one of the luckiest kids in the world to have gotten the priviledge of knowing you. Love you Mom 💗
