PET Scan tomorrow

As you may know, Molly has been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma lung cancer.  We know the cancer has spread to both lungs and the lymph nodes. She is currently in a lot of pain and has difficulty breathing because of the location and size of the cancer.  Her doctors are working with her to manage the pain.  She remains in good spirits despite these circumstances.

She is scheduled to undergo a PET scan tomorrow to determine if the cancer has spread any further.  Molly hopes to begin chemotherapy depending on the results of the PET scan.  The results are expected Friday.  We will let you know what we find out.
