Update from Victoria!
Today I am blessed for my family. They have fought this fight with me, hand in hand, never letting me skip a single beat and lifting me up. For my doctors and nurses, taking the best care of me and making this process a very positive experience. And last, today I am most thankful for blood donors. For the last month I have struggled with my hemoglobin levels, dropping lowest at 3.7- what one doctor described not compatible with life. After about 40 transfusions, today I do not have to receive blood.
So today, this week, this month, I encourage you to donate blood because you don’t know who’s life you are saving. Thank you again everyone for your continued prayers, I feel all of your love while I fight this fight.

Victoria I feel helpless on helping you but this is something I can easily do. So thank you for sharing such a personal experience. I will take any opportunity to make a difference in your recovery and this is one simple step that can be significant. I gave recently for the 1st time in forever, since they usually turned me down for low iron. But this time they didn’t, and in honor of all fighting the fight like you are Victoria, I will keep donating. Hugs.
