I wasn’t going to post anything today, but shortly after I woke up I had a smile on my face and I wanted to share with you all.
Today Brian would’ve been 21.
Many of you didn’t know that Brian loved most things that had the flavor peach. I had a bottle of peach wine that we were saving to celebrate after is last chemo treatment which would have been this Wednesday.
The last time we were at the doctors he asked if he could have a cigar. Unfortunately, he was not able to do either one of them. He also asked me when we were packing him to come back home in September to make sure I packed his winter boots because he was going to go hunting with Mr. Joz and also to pack his cigar box. I finally opened up his cigar box and apparently he was also into pipes.
Now, if you truly knew Brian you will totally appreciate this. He had a Corn Cob pipe and a Sherlock Holmes like pipe. The smell of the tobacco reminded me of my uncle. Now, excuse my ignorance, but he also has this piece that goes onto a cigar. Hope the pictures make you smile. I totally understand if you are sad today , but I hope you can chuckle along with me as well.
My family wanted to do something in honor of Brian’s birthday so some of us went to the Care Center at Willow Creek Church he served at on Saturday mornings. It was an amazing morning! We all felt him smiling down on us. Happy Birthday!

There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you and how you are doing. Brian was an amazing young man and is very much missed! Happy Birthday Brian ❤️ The Kluch Family
Such a wonderful way to celebrate Brian’s life! You should make it a yearly tradition.
I love this Lydia! Made me smile and of course cry a little...he was a special young man who felt truly blessed to have you all as his family, he was so proud of you all and felt so loved. Brian talked about his family so much, we felt we knew you even before we all met. He described Monique the best!! He had special relationships with each of you and loved to share family stories. I have never met anyone as kind and caring as Brian, it's more than words can explain. His desire to help people, strangers, it didn't matter to him, it's like he wanted everyone to feel as loved as he was. Please know how much of an impact the love and kindness you all have as a family impacted his remarkable way...Hope he had a beautiful celebration in heaven where I am sure he continues to be a shining light.
Hmmm Jenn ......."He described me the best " ?.??? I don't quite know what that means . But Brian did have a way about him and was pretty much on spot. Lol
Made me smile when reading this! Love how you love! Brian is in the company of the "man" that could change water into wine, so I am sure he is having some heavenly brew with the best of the best! God Bless you and try to stay happy! Your golden take on life takes my breath away! Love coming your way on this special day!
Love the photos,Lydia, and the background stories. I remember you texting me he’d asked about the cigar. You know he’s smiling down on you & helping your family get through the pain. Happy Birthday, Brian!
