Pneumonia today, Biopsy Tomorrow

Quick note - Cindy's doing well, the usual weariness, been dealing with a spikey temperature.  Hair loss continues, strands vs. clumps.  She's positive, praying, smart-alecky (bossing me around), you know, she's still CINDY!

I steal myself to read up on AML once in a while and a return to every case in unique. Nevertheless, its definitely a journey vs. a destination so while we pray for remission tomorrow (don't know how long results will take to come in), more treatment is ahead regardless.

Cindy and I often joke that we want to return, "To our nice little life."  (Which, by the way, DOESN'T exist but it's good for a chuckle so that's why we keep sharing it.)  Underneath, life is where God has us.  Which would be right here.

THIS JUST IN - a chest x-ray found the Cindy has a "spot" of pneumonia that is among many issues that could arise but this is definitely a concern. Beefed up antibiotics is the treatment. And prayer, lots of that.

Got a good word from our friend, Mike today, something anyone visiting Cindy could do if you take a walk with her.

Read Joshua 1

Wrote Mike, "Notice that God didn't tell him the boundaries of the Promised Land! He told him wherever he stepped would be the land of Israel, still to this day.

So... While at the hospital, walk Cindy's room and the oncology floor and claim it as Cindy's healing land. Imagine large.  Get large."

Love you all.

Hello you two. Charlotte Battjes emailed me this weekend because she remembered that we knew each other. So, here I am, signed up and praying. I have to say, happy 40th anniversary you guys. You are ahead of Jeff and I by three years. We'll celebrate our 37th this June...Lord willing. We can't take anything for granted, can we? What a nice website you have. Great photos! I was able to visit Julie and Rich's fixer upper a couple weeks ago. What a project they've taken on; I am impressed with all the work they've accomplished. It's a very handsome house! I was just remembering that you two were here the day we moved our little Greek Revival to it's Thirteen Mile location. We didn't realize how much was ahead of us...we still don't know what is ahead of us...except what we can be SURE of...may the Lord Bless and keep you Cindy and Glenn. Love, Sherrie Stewart

Sherry, you and Jeff are such a grand part of our story, our walk with the Lord. Remember when, the six of us pouring over God's word together - you two, Cindy and I, Bob and Sylvia - etched into our story? So pleased to welcome you to Cindy's Village.

We invite everyone in Cindy's Village to also lift in prayer Alyson's son, Brian, who is battling late stage testicular cancer.
