A Privilege Pass
One day this fall, I was going through papers and noted some belonged to Sam. I gathered them together and brought them downstairs. Upon entering his room, my eye's caught sight of his MN state hockey pass. I took it off the hook and put it around my neck. Then I started to think about the many privileges and places he entered for free because he had this pass around his neck. The biggest privilege was playing the best single A teams in the state with thousands of spectators.
Could this be why God allowed me to have cancer? I needed a "pass" to access the chemo and oncology dept.'s so I could build relationships with the medical staff. My "cancer pass" has allowed me to go many places that I never would have otherwise gone.
Friends, are you using the hard, painful and difficult trials in your life to go and help others who are in need? These very things may actually be your "privilege pass" and gateway to the joy of sharing Christ with others. Don't refuse or resist the blessings God wants to pour into your spiritual treasure house. Your heart will be praising the Father in heaven for the "privilege pass" which pays out many rewards.
📖Scripture Blessings
Phil 1:29 gnta.
For you have been given the privilege of serving Christ, not only by believing in him, but also by suffering for him.
🎶Songs of Strength
Fill me with power for service and use me; Is there not some work my weak hands can do?
Make me a channel of life and of blessing,
And with the Spirit anoint me a new privilege.
