At Steph and Dennis' wedding ceremony, Dennis played and sang an original song that had the catchiest beat and cutest lyrics, adding an extra sweetness to what was an already perfect day on Madeline Island. The refrain went something like this, "I can't stand, not being around you, love to hold your hand, I'm so glad I found you." We too, are so glad they found each other and feel lucky to have Dennis as part of the family.
Dennis has been such an inspiration and has been by Steph's side nearly 24/7 these past few weeks. And Steph knows. She asks the nurses where her husband is, how he's doing, hugs him, and recently told him "It's time to go! Are you ready?," to which Dennis responded by reminding her where she was and to be patient (getting him, in true Steph fashion, an 'Are you serious?' eye roll in response). These little stories of how they are (re)connecting are just so amazing!
Happy 2nd anniversary to these two lovebirds! May this be just one road bump along your lifelong adventure together. Cheers! And as always, Go Steph Go!

It is infectious and it just shows in reading these posts everyday.
