Event - Gracie’s Garden Tour

Gracie’s Garden Tour, a Celebration of Spring and Rejuvenation.

Sunday, May 17th, starting at 1pm

Join us for an afternoon of wine and hors d’oeuvres at Almenara, a celebrated 100 year old Garden in Santa Barbara’s Upper East Side. The Gardens of Almenara have been featured on television, in magazines and photo shoots. There will be several stations set up throughout the one acre estate garden where guests can enjoy live acoustic music from Gracie’s friends and favorite musicians as well as sample wine and hors d’oeuvres from Santa Barbara’s top vintners and culinary stars. This event is limited to 100 people. Ticket price is $100 per person. There will be a live and silent auction. 100% of donations will go to the Gracie Fisher Family.

We are looking for donations and assistance with the following. Please contact Rayanna Cole-Dombroski at [email protected] or by cell 805 680-1463 if you can assist:

• Contact local restaurants to see if they’ll donate appetizers for this event. Approximately enough for 100 people at 2 pieces per person
  • Currently we have an appetizer station from The Lark and
  • Leslie Thomas, The Accidental Chef, will donate a gluten free, dairy free, chocolate/date/nut dessert. Leslie will also give a cooking demonstration.
  • Wine has already been donated.
• Donations of non-alcoholic beverages, such has water, lemonade, or ice teas.
• Contact friends and businesses to obtain items for a live and silent auction. Currently, we have a 1 night stay at the Bacara and would love to pair this with additional items for a Santa Barbara Package
• Need help with coordinating and processing the live and silent auction during the day of the event.
• We need  tables, chairs, spring colored table clothes donated from a party supply or borrowed.  We’ll probably need 6 tables and 30 chairs.
• We need someone with artistic talent to draw a map of the gardens with the food stations and locations of other items to give to guests upon arrival.
