Harry is doing very well and walking further each day. He celebrated being able to take his first shower in 2 weeks today! We anticipate discharge home tomorrow afternoon. We know this is only due to your continued prayer, encouragement and support. The doctors predict a two month recovery period for his incisions and sternum to heal. The antibiotic treatment will also continue for 6-8 more weeks. The medical staff are amazed at how well he is progressing! Again, God is always faithful![...]

Harry is working with the Physical and Occupational therapists today. They are putting him through the paces to get out of bed independently and walk with a walker. He is writing letters with a pen and crumpling up paper into a ball to increase his fine motor skills in his hands and fingers. The goal is to get in and out of a bed and a chair independently in order to go home.[...]

Debbie and Harry know nothing about this, but many have asked if they could donate to help pay for medical expenses. With that in mind, we have set up an account at Wells Fargo Bank called "The Harry Wood or Deborah Wood Medical Donation Account" for those that want to and can give to them. Please don't feel obligated, but if you would like to, I know it would be much appreciated. Thanks again for all the prayers and caring posts.[...]

The doctor feels that Harry still needs to be in ICU to keep close watch on potential strokes. Both Harry and Debbie are in good spirits and appreciate all the prayers.[...]
