After a consult with the critical care doctor and the cardiac surgeon we know what to pray for. The staph infection has caused damage to the mitral valve in his heart. They are hoping that the antibiotics will fight off the infection in his body, especially in his heart. The doctors will be closely monitoring him for the next few days to see if he will be needing heart surgery to replace the valve. Please pray against the infection and that his valve will be healed without surgery. Thank you...
