Lisa's Second Surgery Update
Hi Friends,
Lisa had a successful second surgery today and is now out of ICU and recovering in her hospital room. She is at Porter Hospital and expected to be there at least 4 more days. She spent the evening with David and her mother Linnie. While Lisa is doing as well as can be expected, she's in a lot of pain after this very extreme surgery, to insert and stabilize the rods in her neck. She will have an intense 12 weeks of therapy and healing on her neck. Her doctors will be doing a lot more testing in the next week or so, and then we will have more information about the course of cancer treatment they are contemplating.
Lisa is so fueled by all your love and care and feels so blessed to have this awesome community! Please continue to share all your love, prayers and great vibes as she needs them more than ever!

Thankful and relieved for the positive result on Lisa’s second surgery. Happy to hear Linnie is with her precious daughter. Now for the healing part. It won’t be easy but if anyone can get through this 12 week PT Lisa can! Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way. 🙏🏻🤗💞

Lisa you are such a strong and healthy trooper in all areas of your life. You have made it through your second surgery just like you made it through all the rapids we did with Rachel o the American River.. Keep your eyes forward, stay in the main flow of the river and don't look at the big holes you want to miss. Lani and I send you tons of love, prayers, and strength. Keep paddling.
