Day +18 - LYLA IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!!!!

Lyla is out of the hopsital!!!!!!!

We never thought this day would come and certainly didn't think it would come this early!!

We left early evening and she's doing great so far! It's so nice being a family together again out of the hopsital! And it was such a crazy and wierd feeling holding and letting Lyla crawl around without a bunch of cords attached!! Oh how you miss the simple things after being in the hospital for exactly one month!

The cords unfortunately didn't last long because we still have to give her IV nutrition 16 hours through the night/morning but it's not nearly as bad as in the hospital. Steve and I also managed to give her nightly dose of 10 medications! It's very scary that everything is in our hands now...fingers crossed 😁 It's been the most tiring day ever so we will write more soon! ❤️💖💗

Looking at Lyla you just want to smile, somehow she just excudes happiness. I can't recal a more infectious smile. It was so lovely to see you all last night so joyous and happy leaving her sterile bubble to begin the next stage in her recovery at the McDonalds house sooner than any other transplant patient! It proves what an incredible remarkable little girl you have been blessed with. Take Care . Xxx XXX xxX
