Sunday has been a good day! Callahan was finally fully taken off of the ventilator and we got to talk to her after. She isn't talking back just yet due to her vocal cords being sore from the tube. But she looks great and we are grateful for a step in the right direction for her healing.
This is just one small victory and we are still asking for prayers in these specific areas. 馃檹馃徏We want her lungs to remain strong so she can fully breath on her own. As we move into this next step in the process we want Callahan to fully embrace her changes. And we seek that she finds comfort and tons of rest.
Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all! - 2 Thessalonians 3.16
We still cannot wait for the day where we get to see her in person 鉂わ笍We are so grateful for each and every one of you and will update again soon!

So delighted to read this news! I continue in daily prayer for this young, strong woman who has demonstrated such fortitude and determination. May the lord bless her and keep her in all his ways, guiding her to recovery each and every day. May he watch over her and protect her under his feathers (Psalm 91) and lead her to breathe well on her own. I am so happy that she is recovering. Here is a toast to a full recovery and the day she will walk out of the hospital! We are keeping her in our prayers and it looks like it is working 😀
