Shrugs from the doctor!

Natalia's first round of chemo went pretty smoothly. She decided to cut her hair short, and donate her locks to Locks of Love.  A sweet friend brought her tools of trade, and a Barbie doll for Natalia to cut her doll's hair, as she is getting Her own hair cut off! Her momma also joined in the bob-fest! 

The highlight of the weekend was the surprise....Natalia's abuelita came from the Dominican Republic, and Amy's second-daddy Arturo with his beautiful daughter Velkis came in from Puerto Rico! They all showed up in the middle of the night, shortly after the first chemo was injected! A fervent prayer was quickly lifted to God Almighty.

Asking the oncologist to explain why there was ZERO pain since 8/26/13 and excrutiating pain on 8/17/13... his reaction was priceless.  He could not explain, and shrugged his shoulders saying that he did not know the why, but he will take that! :) We know! It's the POWER of a unified church, praying to THE ONE, TRUE POWERFUL GOD...ABBA FATHER.

Small steps! For the first round...I'd say we fared pretty well.......one episode of vomiting, and ZERO pain!
