Long bumpy road ahead....
We serve a MIGHTY, POWERFUL GOD! Although we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, WE will fear no evil; For HE IS WITH US; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort US. (Psalm 23:4)
We met with the surgeon this morning and everything is all set for Monday...IF her numbers go up. GREAT NEWS.....the plan is to SAVE HER LEG...... 20cm/8 in. of femur bone will be removed and replaced. The tumor has significantly diminished in size, and He kept repeating how REMARKABLE she has tolerated the chemo...how amazing her biopsy scar has healed And that she has responded VERY well to everything! He said it is a very loooong, bumpy road....but she will get to keep her leg........it is obvious that GOD has her in HIS HANDS.
This process will require several casts, wheelchair, and crutches. The BIGGEST RISK now is infection. She will continue her chemo regimen after surgery, along with physical therapy.
Prayer request: That she tolerates the surgery well...with NO infections. For God's will, plan and purpose to be done.
The surgery is HIGH RISK, due to the fact that she is not as strong because of the chemo....
Our family thanks ALL of you for your PRAYERS & SUPPORT!
