Relief....

Last Friday, we had the Radiation Oncologist and Oncologist look at an ulcer/open sore that appeared. Doctors said to put Neosporin and air will help it heal. This morning, it was swollen, hot to the touch, raw and painful....:(

The Radiation Oncologist rushed her over to Moffitt for it to be evaluated by her surgeon. They took one look and decided to cut off a chunk of her pink cast! They also set a date for her cast to be removed at All Children's, under anesthesia! Praise GOD, light at the end of the tunnel!! Sofia is still in pain, but removing part of her cast took off a LOT of the pressure! So grateful! Our last radiation day is Wednesday.....how time has gone by!! Yayyy!
