The doctors always have a treatment plan...how they want things to play out, but in the total scheme of things....GOD has the ultimate control. There is peace resting assured that you are under his umbrella......in HIS perfect peace. That is the ONLY place that I want to be.
Yesterday, Natalia's ANC(immunity gage) was at 150...a minimum of 500 is required to qualify for chemo. I quickly asked everyone to come together in prayer....asking God's will to be done. Once the cast came off, the doctors could see the entire affected area and determined that the sore is a blistering radiation burn. Having low counts compromised her healing time and her life.
4-5 different doctor consults in her room took place today to decide what was BEST for my Sofia. They decided to switch one of her Iv antibiotics, they may start with light physical therapy, and to heal her raw wound with topical ointments. Her fevers are coming down! We just took down the high risk of infection sign! Her ANC jumped to 626!!! The higher the number, the quicker she can fight this infection, and the sooner she could heal!
God is in control!
