The BEACH.....at last!

For the last couple of weeks,  Natalia has been asking if we could take her to the beach "at least to touch the sand and the water!". Due to the fact that she has been in the hospital for one thing or the other, and she had NUMEROUS restrictions, we had not taken her. 

We have been giving her potassium since we came home from the hospital, and letting her rest more. This afternoon, she had a bit more energy....so we picked up our stuff....and ran to the beach! She was ecstatic!! She wouldn't STOP saying " I'm soo happy!", and singing the happy song!! Feet first, she dove in the sand, while taking in a deep breath of salty air.....such a simple outing, but a much needed break! She played in the sand with her friends! As soon as our dear friends heard about our plans, they met us at the beach.....for an evening full of laughter and fun! We watched the beautiful sunset, and fireworks were blasting soon after! (They must've known we were coming! Lol)

So forever grateful to HIM, who makes ALL THINGS POSSIBLE....To allow us to pause our crazy schedule, and enjoy His creation, to be able to exhale....away from the hospital setting, and watch my baby be a little girl, doing what she loves to do!! To hear her shriek joyfully, "I'm so happy, I'm so happy!".....It's priceless.

Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?
