Birthday girl!

Natalia went to school all week and she's had a BLAST! Yesterday, at the fifth grade banquet, the fifth graders made her feel so welcome! They took pictures with her, decorated her wheelchair with glow sticks, and showered her with attention!! Today, she played board games with her friends, participated in her brother's festivities, and was surprised with birthday cupcakes in her classroom!

As school comes to an end, I reflect on the "meet and greet" date....the first week of school....how our journey started then....and how it too will be coming to an end....It feels as though we are standing still, and the seasons are flying by!
