Sicky-icky today....

Had to pick up Natalia early from school today. She had a baaaad tummy ache:( After we got home, I found her in tears, with tummy pain, and she says: "Mommy, I really need JESUS. I really need him.......he heard my prayer....." She said she cried out to him to help her deal with the pain she was feeling.....and she felt instant relief. It's awesome that in the midst of her tummy pain she realizes that she can't do it by herself....she needs JESUS. I need JESUS....every day! You need JESUS, daily! To realize that we are totally dependent in him. Needing our savior, desperately. And the most AMAZING thing is, HE IS ALWAYS THERE, ALWAYS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD, HE NEVER EVER LEAVES US. Tonight, as I put her to bed, she was reading her bible.....OUT LOUD.......and said that she is believing every word that she is reading....she wanted to hear herself read it out loud so that the words would sink in! Lol 2 Chronicles 20:2, 12, 15, 17-20 Some men came and told Jehoshaphat, “A great multitude is coming against you from Edom, from beyond the sea........ For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” And he said, “Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be AFRAID and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is NOT yours but God's. You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be AFRAID and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.” Then Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. And the Levites, of the Kohathites and the Korahites, stood up to praise the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice. And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! BELIEVE in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed.” This is the word we are standing on......it was disheartening breaking the news to Natalia about the surgeon's phone call. She cried and said...."I'm devastated...." :(( "It's back to square one....the pain, the cast, the wheelchair....learning how to walk..." We are fixing our eyes on THE ONE WHO CAN make a way, where there is no way, HE is able. In this passage, The vast army was bigger than theirs, this non-healing bone is bigger than us. We are totally powerless. JESUS has the power to make things new, to restore the bone, to renew the leg...At the cellular level. Only JESUS......IF it is HIS WILL. IF he chooses a different path for us, we WILL walk it.......GLORIFYING HIM, THE ONE WHO SEES THE BIGGER PICTURE, THE ONE WHOSE THOUGHTS ARE ABOVE OURS, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. WE ARE TOTALLY DEPENDING IN JESUS....TRUSTING HIM AND HIM ALONE. Peace comes to those who trust...wholeheartedly.....the LORD will be with us, NO MATTER WHAT. THE BATTLE IS HIS.....NOT OURS.PERIOD.
