POST-OP X 22days

WE SERVE A POWERFUL, LIVING GOD! This week started with an "emergency" trip to the dentist, because our oncologist believed that Natalia needed to be checked for loose permanent teeth. She had 3 wiggly teeth and because of her low calcium and history of Osteoporosis, he wanted to double check. Since her treatment and her low ANC/immunity, she had not seen a dentist in quite a long time....we definitely did not know what to expect! Amazing enough, she does NOT have ONE cavity! And she is loosing 3 baby teeth!! Thank you, Lord!! Today, Dr. Cheong gave us the pathology report from the surgery, and it confirmed what the oncologist said of Natalia Sofia! It appears that she is on remission!! This brings tears to my eyes....to hear those words from the doctors.....even though it's not a year...YET....it is awesome to know that she is still on the road to recovery, 9 months after coming off such an intense, horrific treatment. Even though we did not get the MRI of the leg for her 9month scans, a NEGATIVE biopsy is proof enough! The surgeon will see her in 3 more weeks, and (hopefully) he will remove the cast!! She will be NON-weight bearing for a while after that, while her bone HEALS & GROWS. PRAYING for The Lord to create a new bone, at the cellular level......like ONLY HE CAN. JESUS you are the creator, and you fearfully and wonderfully knit Natalia Sofia....you took your time and made her to be who she is.......purposely made for SUCH A TIME AS THIS. You created her for such a time, with such a circumstance...and equipped us for it! You knew it BEFORE you created her! Thank you Lord, because you are EVERYWHERE I look....reminding me WHO is in charge! I LOVE YOU, JESUS!!! Psalm 139:13-14, 16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Your eyes saw my unformed body; ALL the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Job 10:12 You gave Natalia Sofia life and showed her kindness, and in your providence watched over her spirit. Jeremiah 1:5 Natalia, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
