Childhood cancer Awareness🎗

I know she doesn't appear to be sick in this pic....but she was SOOOO sick....WOW! The strength that only JESUS gives is so very evident!
The photographer said to kiss her, and when I did, her head was on fire!!! And then you see the picture they took, the exact moment my lips touched her frail forehead....and it just hits me. How in the world is this child still smiling? Little did I know that after the picture, she would be rushed to the infusion room to start a strong antibiotic, have a horrifying allergic reaction to that strong iv antibiotic, and a freak accident would happen with her port, reversing her outflow, making her bleed out, AND we would soon discover that after emergency removing her spica (body)cast, underneath she would have exposed raw skin with a second degree radiation burn(pictures are too graphic to post) and be SO sick in the hospital for about a month?!
Yes, judging from the picture it APPEARS as if all is well. A mother-daughter photo session.

The fact is that childhood cancer is ugly. It is SO ugly and unfair, it does not discriminate...........BUT GOD. We serve a MIGHTY GOD!

PLEASE.....prayerfully think of ways you can be involved to bring AWARENESS to this underfunded disease. All of us know or have children that could be or are affected by this horrible disease. While I'm grateful that my daughter is 26 months off treatment and cancer free, there are SO many parents left without their babies. Most survive the primary cancer, but don't survive the treatment. It is unacceptable that these kids are being subjected to chemo drugs that are from the 70's, secondary cancers from their treatments, adult chemo, harsh chemo, such as the red devil, which KILLS the heart.
United we can make a difference and be a VERY LOUD VOICE in the fight against cancer.🎗
Thanks again for your support!!!💛
