On the road to moving pianos.
Robbie – Update # 3
First off – again – thank you all who have helped in countless ways to make this journey that much easier for us. Every ounce of assistance and kindness you have provided has meant the world to us and Robbie, and we are so humbled and grateful for it.
He is settled into rehabilitation with a routine not unlike his young boarding school days. His clothes are labeled with his name, lights are out at 8, and we have to sneak him the occasional Kit-Kat. They are - for lack of a more poetic description – kicking his butt. Between occupational, physical, and speech therapy, and the occasional massage, he is being kept busy.
He is doing well, and continues to regain strength, motor skills, and speech every day. He knows every RN and OT by name and has recruited the floor staff with the same charm we have known so well.
And he is ready for visitors. Though he is generally exhausted by 7 PM, he still enjoys company. He is at the California Pacific Medical Center Davies Campus at 45 Castro Street in San Francisco, North Tower, room 243. For weekdays - feel free to drop by whenever you want between 5 and 8. If you could send an email to [email protected] letting us know when you plan to come that would be great.
His weekends are a little more free - but the schedule changes - so let us know via email when you would you are free and we can try to coordinate.
Thank you again to everyone for all the love and support. We cannot begin to convey our awe for your collective grace. Much love,
The Rad Robbie Support Club
