Week of August 16, 2021

On Monday, Aug. 16, the general neurologist referred me to a neurosurgeon. There were two separate tumors located in my brain. One in each hemisphere, the tumor on the right hemisphere (4.5 cm) was causing my left side weakness. The other tumor (1.0cm) was smaller and was showing no signs of affecting my mobility. 

Aug. 17th. Open house at school.  All went well, but I was a wreck! 

Aug. 18th  1st day of school. 9am. My husband, Bryant, struggled to call me. The Neurosurgeon wanted to have a phone consult with me before my appointment with her that same afternoon! My new office was a solid concrete block cave and no amount of cell signal was going to get in or out! I decided then it was time to call it quits, I had too many medical appointments needing my full attention.
