Born into eternal life

Mark finished the race at 6:15 pm, Saturday, August 26. He had been unresponsive since last Sunday, August 20, but yesterday (Saturday) he looked at his sister Debbie and then at Jan. He fell back into unconsciousness for several hours. Around 6:00 pm he looked at Jan and then at his daughter, Rebecca, and peacefully slipped beyond the veil.

I'm so sorry for your loss. This was a hard struggle, but I know the Love of God was with Mark, Jan and your entire family. There are no words, other than he was a good friend and I'll always carry the happy memories of our college years together. May you all continue to experience the peace of Christ in your lives. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. May God give Jan and the entire Herwaldt family consolation. May Matk's witness of life in Christ and purposeful suffering continue to produce fruit in this world for generations to come. Go with God, Mark.
