Day 29 is finally here!
ANC is 770 so we are good to go! Just waiting to go in for her lumbar puncture where she will receive 3 chemos in the spine. When she wakes up they will continue hydrating before getting 2 more chemos in her port. All followed by 4 hours of post hydration. It's going to be a long day!!! Sofia won't feel great for the next 30 days and all her counts will drop pretty low. But, this is the end of DI and maintenance is just around the corner!! Thank you team Sofia for your prayers!!!

It sounds like Sofia (and her entire team) are heading into the final turn of this very LONG race (so to speak) that she has undertaken and successfully endured. My prayers are with Sofia that these next 30 days will not be too uncomfortable for her. As always, hoping that all of you will stay "Sofia Strong". Sofia and your entire family really are an inspiration to us all. You truly are an unbelievable family.
It's so good to hear that Sofia's ANC numbers are good and she can start the final phase of DI. Though it pains my heart to know and understand just what she will have to endure it has to be done to move forward to the maintenance phase of her treatment that we have all been praying so hard for. My prayers for Sofia and her family will always continue as strong as ever.
