No fun ☹️

Our tough little man keeps battling through but it’s been another rough day.   More vomiting and he is now having fevers.  They continue to check for a source of infection while trying to treat his symptoms. And for Levi, what’s even worse is that his favorite Blaze show keeps getting interrupted by “Yucky” commercials.  Live TV apparently is just another thing that is no fun!   

Despite all of it, he’s finishing up with Day 8 of this cycle of chemotherapy.  In total it’s now been 51 days in the hospital...no wonder he’s missing some of the comforts of home!  He’s certainly not the only one as Beth and Zack know the cafeteria menu by heart and each have had to find a way to make a rock hard sofa into a suitable sleeping nook.  Even Owen has been a rockstar through it all as he finds ways to keep everyone smiling with his jokes and always is the first to say “Oh, he’s so cute!” with every picture and video of Levi he sees.   Certainly, cancer doesn’t just happen to an individual but an entire family.   For this family, it’s 51 days and staying strong...

And for all of you, our family and friends, thank you so much for making sure that in all of those days, there has never been a shortage of encouragement.
