A Smidge of a Smile
If you look closely in the pic with Beth, Levi has a bit of a smile! He's not super thrilled as he's doing some therapy, but it was sure nice of him to give us a hint of a smile for the picture.
Maybe it's just a smidge because he knows his blood counts are all good again (atta boy!) but also just a smidge because he knows the next round of chemo is coming Tuesday. Yucky, necessary chemo.
His cognitive abilities have gone down in the last week, so he'll have another MRI to make sure the doctors aren't missing anything.
On the plus side, he did say "Hi" to Daddy and waved goodbye to Mommy. It's slow going, but it's progress!
Just that touch of a smile and he's captured our hearts again.

My dear sweet boy! It’s been rough but in a few weeks, after the chemo, you WILL be ready to kick this cancer out & start to feel like amazing Levi again. Looking forward to just seeing you go home & be with your brother Owen. Remember you are strong. Stronger than old Aunt Carol. Looking forward to making you a s’more at the cabin. And just watching you ride your scooter again. Tell everyone hi! Love you lots!
